Sammy Ameobi has quickly settled in since signing for Nottingham Forest in the summer – and a tweet celebrating his impact has proved a hit on social media.
The 27-year-old attacker became the club’s first new addition of the transfer window when he joined as a free agent, penning a one-year deal.
He has featured in each of the Reds’ four games of the season so far and made his first start in the Garibaldi on Saturday, playing 79 minutes at the City Ground as Sabri Lamouchi’s men comfortably saw off Birmingham City 3-0.
He earned his place in the first XI after playing a key role from off the bench in Forest’s previous league game, at Leeds United.
On that occasion, the visitors were 1-0 down when Ameobi entered the fray in the 64th minute, with Samba Sow and Rafa Mir also brought on as substitutes.
Ameobi played his part in helping the Reds rescue a point, making a difference by driving his team forward.

And a tweet showcasing one particular bit of skill and surging run by the former Bolton Wanderers man has proved popular.
SkyBet posted a clip of Ameobi in action, complete with a disco ball and catchy music for effect, saying: “This is Sammy Ameobi’s world. We’re just living in it. #CantTouchThis #NFFC”
It has currently collected more than 3,000 “likes” and more than 550 retweets, with Ameobi’s Forest teammate Lewis Grabban – who bagged the equaliser in that game – one of those to retweet to his followers.
