Brilliant moment England fans scream out in celebration from Manchester tower block balconies after Euro 2020 semi-final

England's historic Euro 2020 semi-final win over Denmark was greeted with euphoria across the country.

Fans went wild in Manchester, with celebrations spilling out onto streets as the brilliant Three Lions secured a place in their first major tournament final since 1966.

And the ecstasy was even shared within tower blocks in Manchester city centre.

Fans watching the game at home with family and friends were captured on film screaming out with delight as the final whistle was blown at Wembley.

The footage shows England supporters cheering to each other from the balconies of their flats.

Cries of 'yes' and 'England' fill the air - as flats came together to share the moment football came that little bit closer to 'coming home'.

The cheers can be heard sounding out as one as the referee called time.

England now face Italy in the final on Sunday - the biggest game in English football since the 1966 World Cup win at Wembley.

Elsewhere, hundreds of jubilant England fans gathered in Stevenson Square in the Northern Quarter to celebrate the 2-1 win over Denmark.

Fan were captured singing and chanting after Harry Kane's dramatic goal from a penalty rebound in the 104th minute.

Friends hoisted each other aloft and shirts were ripped off in celebration.

A number of police were pictured standing-by, and were forced to step in as revellers began climbing on top of bus shelters.

Greater Manchester Police have this morning - Thursday - confirmed that officers made three arrests at Stevenson Square.

Two women have have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.

They remain in custody for questioning.

A male was also arrested for breach of the peace but was de-arrested a short time later, police said.

Most of the party did, however, pass without trouble.

A giant inflatable football could be seen being tossed among the crowd - and England flags were held aloft amid the singing.

A spokesperson for GMP confirmed: "There were three arrests in Stevenson Square last night - two women were arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer and criminal damage.

"A male was also arrested for breach of the peace but was de-arrested a short while later.

"There were no other incidents of note."
