The match is part of fundraising for the treatment of Wanderers defender Gethin Jones' mother, Karen, who has been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND).

The family are aiming to pursue the best current care and leading course of treatment which is available only in the United States.

And a big crowd has attended the University of Bolton Stadium to show their support and watch their old heores in action.

Okocha started the game and opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

And after he scored, there were fantastic scenes as the Nigerian wing wizard and Allardyce shared a magical moment on the touchline.

The duo took part in a dance which received a huge cheer from the Wanderers support.

The hosts then equalised through George Thomason, before Nathan Delfouneso and Xavier Amaechi grabbed goals to ensure Wanderers led at the break.
