Brighton vs Tottenham prediction and odds: Harry Kane tipped to contribute to goalfest at the Amex

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways after a disappointing couple of outings which include being humbled by arch-rivals Arsenal in last weekend's North London derby. They travel down to Sussex to face a Brighton & Hove Albion side looking to add to a strong start under new boss Roberto De Zerbi.

Spurs are the slight favourites at 13/8 with Betfred while hosts Brighton are 7/4 ahead of their meet up at the American Express Community Stadium, with the draw a 5/2 chance. The Albion have won two of their last three league meetings with Spurs but the visitors did win their last trip to the Sussex coast.

The Albion looked solid against Liverpool to pick up a point at Anfield last weekend thanks to a late Leandro Trossard equaliser while Spurs suffered a 3-1 defeat at the Emirates against Mikel Arteta's Arsenal side.

Betting angles

Spurs have finished all their matches in all competitions over 2.5 and under 7.5 total cards while the Albion have finished five of their eight matches over 2.5 total cards. Over 40 booking points is 6/4.

Conte's side have finished all their matches so far this season with a minimum of seven total corners in all competitions while Brighton have finished seven of their eight matches with eight or more total corners including 11 in their last two matches. Under 10 total corners is evens.

The Seagulls have finished half of their matches in all competitions with both sides scoring including the last three matches where they have conceded two goals twice and three times in their last outing against Liverpool while Spurs have finished six of their 11 matches so far this season this way including two in their last three. Both teams to score is 4/6.

Players to watch

Two players will be on the lips of many fans going into this match - Harry Kane and Leandro Trossard.

For Spurs, their talisman will be looking to maintain his fine form in the Premier League after picking up seven goals in eight appearances, losing just one match whenever he's been on the scoresheet - which was last weekend's North London derby. Kane to score anytime is 5/4.

Meanwhile, Conte will be making sure there are no repeats of Trossard's brilliance after last weekend's display at Anfield. The first opposition player to score a hat-trick at Liverpool since Andrey Arshavin for Arsenal when he scored four times. His equaliser in front of the Kop sparked some excitement from new boss De Zerbi and will no doubt be keen to add more to his growing tally. The Belgian is 9/4 to score anytime.
