The champions will be without Ferran Torres who is sidelined for up to three months with a foot injury, which might give Raheem Sterling a chance to reinsert himself in Pep Guardiola’s consciousness. The England star has suggested he would be open to a transfer if he does not get regular first-team football.
With Kevin de Bruyne back to his best, and Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva dazzling in recent weeks, this could be a tough day for Brighton.
