Chris Wood double helps Burnley past Brighton

Burnley continued their good recent run with a comfortable win at Brighton.

Chris Wood scored twice before Ashley Barnes wrapped up all three points from the spot as the Clarets moved out of the bottom three.

Here's how it played out:

Welcome along to another busy day of Premier League football, as Liverpool aim to climb back to the top of the table, for now at least. While we wait for all the day's team news and build-up, here's a look at the big talking points ahead of the weekend:
Time for team news!
Crystal Palace vs West Ham:

Huddersfield Town vs Arsenal:

Liverpool vs Bournemouth:

Southampton vs Cardiff:

Watford vs Everton:

Five defenders and two deep-lying midfielders against the bottom club for Arsenal today.....

Could be a rather hmmm, interesting, afternoon at the John Smith's Stadium today.

Some crucial clashes coming up at both ends of the table in the 3pm games.

Southampton in 16th play Cardiff in 18th, with the hosts looking to rise to 13th with a win over the Bluebirds.

Liverpool can get back to winning ways against Bournemouth to go top of the table after Man City closed the gap by beating Everton in midweek.

It's also 8th vs 9th as Watford face Everton, while Palace in 14th, who welcome back Wilfried Zaha, host London rivals West Ham in 12th.
Just five minutes to go until kickoff. The focus will largely be at Anfield to see how Jurgen Klopp's men react to City's resurgence, but there are a whole load of intriguing battles taking place across the grounds.

The Marco Silva derby takes place at Vicarage Road, while Unai Emery is under similar pressure with his side more defensive than usual at bottom club Huddersfield.

So who will the pressure build on today?
It's all that Fortnite isn't it?

We're underway in all of our 3pm games.

Let's see what twists and turns are in store for us in the five games today.
Another new formation from Unai Emery it seems.

2 min: Liverpool 0-0 Bournemouth

Fast start from the visitors, who are denied the lead by Alisson's save from Ryan Fraser's shot after 80 seconds.
4 min: Watford 0-0 Everton

A good chance for the visitors to assert some early pressure, but Gylfi Sigurdsson's 50-yard free-kick is staright into the hands of Ben Foster.
6 min: Southampton 0-0 Cardiff

An emotional afternoon on the south coast for the visitors after the passing of Emiliano Sala, but neither side has taken the initiative so far.
8 min: Liverpool 0-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth are not holding back here, having two efforts on goal in the opening ten minutes.

Nothing yet from the hosts.
9 min: Huddersfield 0-0 Arsenal

Jan Siewert's side are well up for this. They have started well in the opening exchanges but the Gunners are looking to pose a threat through Alexandre Lacazette.
10 min: Watford 0-0 Everton

Lively start at Vicarage Road, where Jordan Pickford knows little about it, but he denies Etienne Capoue following the Frenchman's powerful strike from six yards out.
