Brighton v Arsenal, Premier League preview: Kick-off time, team news, TV channel, h2h, prediction, odds

Brighton restart their Premier League campaign at home to Arsenal this afternoon with the Gunners looking to bounce back from defeat at Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat at the Etihad on the opening night of Project Restart on Thursday with David Luiz at the centre of a calamitous evening.

The Brazilian picked up a three match suspension after his red card with Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari also limping off.

Arsenal remain eight points behind fourth place Chelsea having now played the same number of games.

Brighton meanwhile restart their campaign just two points off the relegation zone.

Date, time and venue

Brighton vs Arsenal is scheduled for 3pm BST kick-off on Saturday, June 20.

The Gunners are on the road again with Brighton's AMEX Stadium hosting the contest.

Team news

Brighton: Ryan, Schelotto, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Propper, Bissouma, Mooy, Gross, Trossard, Maupay

Subs: Lamptey, Duffy, Stephens, Mac Allister, Murray, March, Montoya, Button, Connolly

Arsenal: Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Pepe, Ceballos, Guendouzi, Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang

Subs: Tierney, Ozil, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Martinez, Willock, Nketiah, Martinelli, Medley

Referee: Martin Atkinson

Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal showed familiar vulnerability against City but it is difficult to understate the importance of having a game under your belt after a three-month absence.

Even at this stage, more dropped points would be detrimental to Arsenal's chances of launching a late battle for fourth place. Three points is a must.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised live on BT Sport 1, with coverage starting from 2:45pm.
