Brighton midfielder Pascal Gross believes Liverpool deserve to win the Premier League and is aiming to frustrate Manchester City this weekend.
Pep Guardiola’s side travel to the AMEX Stadium knowing that a victory will see City become the first side to defend their Premier League crown in a decade, while dropping points would hand the opportunity for Liverpool to end their 29-year wait for a title.
City are heavily tipped as favourites to beat Brighton and secure the title but Gross has other ideas, as he believes it is Jurgen Klopp’s side who deserve to finish as champions.

"I am a professional and I want to win every game. Klopp deserves the title because Liverpool have played on the highest level,” he told Kicker.
“We will try everything to take a point against Manchester City.”
Brighton enter the clash with City in good form after avoiding relegation and frustrating Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium last weekend, securing a 1-1 draw that handed a significant blow to the Gunners’ top-four hopes.
However, City have won all four of their meetings with the Seagulls since Chris Hughton steered them to the Premier League - including a 1-0 triumph in the FA Cup semi-finals last month.
