The truth behind Spurs-linked managers
Jose Mourinho left Tottenham about two and a half weeks ago and a host of names have been linked with the vacant job in north London.
football.london understands that the brief for the next Spurs boss is that they must be progressive, attack-minded, favouring possession-based football and - most crucially - they fit the club's culture.

One of the names rumoured is ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, but he is not believed to be a realistic option for Spurs.
However, Brighton boss Graham Potter has caught Tottenham's eye with the job he has done at the Amex Stadium in the past two seasons.

Brighton's Potter stance revealed
Brighton chief executive Paul Barber believes Potter will be at the club for a long time to come, despite reports linking him with Tottenham.
As mentioned above, Spurs are thought to be impressed with what the Seagulls boss has done in recent seasons. However, Barber is adamant that Potter will not be moving on from the Amex Stadium anytime soon.
Speaking to The Argus, Barber said: "We have no desire whatsoever to lose Graham [Potter].
"Graham is very happy here. We are delighted with the work he is doing, the work that the staff around Graham are doing, so as far as we are concerned, there is absolutely no way that we would allow Graham to leave at this time.
"I don't think there is any interest on Graham's part either, I think he is very happy with what he is doing and we are delighted with what he is doing for us.
"I think over the last two seasons, people have seen the progress we have made in terms of the style of football and the quality of our performances against teams that have got substantially more expensively assembled squads than us and a very significant part of that is down to the work of Graham and his staff.
"So we are delighted with him and we expect him to be here for many years to come."

Man City could join race for Bissouma
Manchester City could join the race with Tottenham to sign Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma in the summer, but on one condition.
If City veteran Fernandinho decides to call it a day, then the club may look at the Seagulls star, according to the Express.
The Brazilian midfielder is now 36 and has said he will discuss a potential 12-month extension to his current deal after the Champions League final later this month.
Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with Bissouma, who has been very impressive down on the south coast this season. City are also thought to be interested in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice, so he could be another option for Pep Guardiola.
