Brighton, Newcastle and Sheffield United circling for Burnley midfielder Jack Cork

Brighton are one of the clubs circling for Burnley midfielder Jack Cork.

Newcastle and Sheffield United are also watching developments on Cork who is out of contract at Turf Moor at the end of the season.

Burnley are in the middle of a takeover and Cork’s contract is yet to be addressed with the future of the club in the balance.

That has alerted several clubs to 31-year-old Cork’s situation and Burnley have been missing the England International while he has been out injured.

Cork formed a strong partnership with Adam Lallana when the pair were together at Southampton and Brighton could look to bring in much needed experience and quality.

Newcastle and Sheffield United have also been monitoring Cork’s situation as Burnley could end up losing him for nothing at the end of the season when he would be a free agent.

Cork has been a big hit at Burnley since moving to Turf Moor in 2017 in a £10m move and has been one of Sean Dyche’s most reliable performers.
