Brighton manager Graham Potter reveals potential injury blow ahead of Everton clash

Brighton manager Graham Potter has revealed a potential injury blow for his side ahead of their visit to Everton this weekend.

The Seagulls travel to Goodison Park on Saturday finding themselves just one point behind the Blues, and will be looking for a double over their hosts after their 3-2 success at the AMEX Stadium back in October.

However, Carlo Ancelotti and Everton will be looking to bounce back after a roller-coaster week following an FA Cup exit at the hands of Liverpool on Sunday.

Potter has addressed the media ahead of his side's trip to Merseyside and revealed he could be without Aaron Mooy for the match against the Blues.

The Australia international has been influential for his loan side over the course of the campaign thus far and was rested for their FA Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday last week.

An issue in training has made the 29-year-old a doubt - but the visitors could welcome back Solly March after his recovery from a groin operation.

Potter said: "He [Mooy] has had a knock in training and hasn't trained for the last couple of days. We have to see how he is for the weekend. I would say he is less than 50-50.

"He's the only one apart from Jose Izquierdo and Dan Burn who'll we have to look at between now and Saturday.

"Solly March has trained all week, so he is in contention for the group. He has trained well, so there is a chance he will be in the squad."

Ancelotti is due to face the media on Friday afternoon to give the latest updates on Everton's injury list.
