Brighton Argus readers have been thanked for helping to raise £80,000 for a man suffering from cancer. The paper revealed in April that Neil Cooper had only two months to live unless he received expensive pioneering chemotherapy treatment unavailable on the NHS. In a moving tribute to Argus readers his wife, Wendy, said the money raised had ensured the world still had "one very wonderful man". She also praised the "wonderfully warm" Argus staff.
