Bright Osayi-Samuel transfer latest as Rangers ‘target’ has asking price dropped

Fenerbahce have dropped the asking price for Bright Osayi-Samuel to just £2.5million, according to a report.

The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Rangers since last summer and the Turkish side signed him in January, but he's reportedly willing to quit the club already.

And Fenerbahce are willing to sell him after dropping their asking price in a bid to drum up interest in the winger.

Turkish outlet Fanatik say they hope to get rid of the former QPR man - who they paid just £500k for him in January - and it could see Rangers go back in for him.

Osayi-Samuel failed to adapt to Turkish football and could leave just six months into a four-and-a-half year deal.

The Nigerian has also struggled to adapt to the tactics of Vitor Pereira with the Fenerbahce boss only taking over in July and Osayi-Samuel failing to get a place in the team.

The 23-year-old played 18 times for Fenerbahce last season and scored once, in a 3-0 win over Konyaspor.

Steven Gerrard's men already have a number of attacking options with Scott Wright, Ryan Kent, Ianis Hagi, Kemar Roofe, Joe Aribo and Fashion Sakala all capable of playing on the wings.
