Bright Osayi-Samuel latest as Rangers and Celtic target's Fenerbache rumours rubbished by Mark Warburton

QPR boss Mark Warburton has rubbished claims Bright Osayi-Samuel has agreed a deal to sign for Fenerbahce in the summer.

The Nigerian winger is out-of-contract and can speak to non-English clubs about a pre-contract.

Celtic and Rangers have both been heavily linked with a move for him but Fenerbahce had allegedly jumped to the front of the queue and were in advanced talks to take him to Turkey.

But Warburton insists it's all speculation and there's nothing concrete about his future, with a contract still on the table from QPR.

He told West London Sport: “Apparently he’s going to Celtic and Fenerbahce and Rangers as well. I hope he’s got a good passport.

“It’s all rumours and it keeps the media going. My only concern is Bright working hard, training well and performing well.”

Osayi-Samuel could be one of two players the Old Firm battle over this summer, with both sides reported to have offered contracts to Alfie Doughty.

The Charlton wide man was chased by Celtic in the summer and they had two bids rejected, while Stoke have also made offers to sign him.

But Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon both want to bring him to Glasgow.

Rangers have also been linked with a move for striker Fashion Sakala.
