The cause of a young father's death, whose body was found in undergrowth, was confirmed today at the opening of an inquest.
Jamie Lee Grimwood was found alongside the railway near Chester Road, Flint, on September 11.
At a brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said that Network Rail had notified British Transport Police the body was discovered.
Mr Grimwood, 23, of Runcorn, was identified from dental records, reports the Daily Post.
Home Office pathologist Dr Brian Rodgers, who carried out a post-mortem examination, gave the provisional cause of death as compression of the neck.

The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
Mr Grimwood, a dad-of-one, was reported missing on August 23 and a large-scale police search was launched.
He was last seen in Chester Road, Flint, and his dark grey Audi was later found nearby.
Within just a couple of days of his body being found over £5,000 was raised through a "Go Fund Me" appeal to cover the costs of his funeral.
Among the online tributes from friends and family members was one which read: "Jamie was a bright, welcoming, genuine young man, a loved son, brother, nephew, grandson and dad to his young son William."
