April 04--ZZ Top and Dierks Bentley are among the performers scheduled to play the grandstand at the Illinois State Fair in August, fair officials announced Monday.
The fair is set to be held Aug. 12-21 in Springfield, with a preview night slated for Aug. 11. On-sale dates for concert tickets have not yet been announced. The lineup:
>> Aug. 14: Jake Owen with opening act Old Dominion (tickets: $15-$37).
>> Aug. 16: Bentley with opener Tucker Beathard (tickets: $42-$64).
>> Aug. 19: Cole Swindell with opening acts Kane Brown, LANco and Jon Langston (tickets: $18-$40).
>> Aug. 20: Little Big Town with opener David Nail (tickets: $27-$49).
>> Aug. 21: ZZ Top and Gregg Allman (tickets: $34-$54).
Fair officials said they expect to make at least three more grandstand announcements.
