BRIEF: Young dancer throws up on Paula Abdul at Chicago audition for Fox show

June 06--Tahani Anderson was all smiles after dancing to Beyonce's "Countdown" at the Chicago audition for "So You Think You Can Dance" -- until she hugged judge Paula Abdul.

"I hugged (judge) Nigel (Lythgoe) and then I hugged Paula and she just squeezed me too tight and all the happiness came out on her jacket," Anderson says in a preview of Monday's episode of the Chicago auditions for the Fox competition.

"I've never had anyone just vomit on me like that," Abdul joked.

Nearly 800 dancers ages 8-13 auditioned in March at the Lou Conte Dance Studio in the Near West Side neighborhood to appear on the 13th installment of the series. Tryouts were also held in Los Angeles and New York City.

Dancers who successfully auditioned in one of those cities were sent to "The Academy" to compete for a spot in the top 10. The 10 finalists partner with a "So You Think You Can Dance" all-star from a previous season to vie for the show title and $250,000.

"So You Think You Can Dance" airs 7 p.m. Mondays.
