March 10--American Theater Company has announced the cast of this season's final production, the roller-disco campy delight "Xanadu."
The production, dedicated to ATC's late artistic director and "Xanadu" fan PJ Paparelli, will star Landree Fleming as Kira, a role made popular by Olivia Newton-John in the 80s flick, and Jim DeSelm as Sonny. The cast also includes Missy Aguilar as Calliope, Kasey Alfonso as Erato, Karla L. Beard as Melpomene, Aaron Holland as Danny Maguire and Zeus, Hannah Rose Nardone as Euterpe, James Nedrud as Terpsichore and Daniel Spagnuolo as Thalia, with Michelle Lauto and Cameron Turner. Lilli-Anne Brown will direct.
"Xanadu" plays May 27 -- July 17 at American Theater Company, 1909 W. Byron St.
