Nov. 16--Three people were in serious condition after a wrong-way crash on the Kennedy Expressway early Sunday.
A man was traveling in his Toyota Camry southbound on the northbound lanes of the I-90/94 around 3:50 a.m. when he struck a car that was traveling northbound in the right lane, said Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Rodney Collins.
The driver of the wrong-way car and the two people in the car he struck suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. All three were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment, Collins said.
The driver of the wrong-way car was charged with driving under the influence, Collins said.
