BRIEF: World Cup viewing party in Lincoln Park Sunday

July 01--U.S. Soccer and the Chicago Park District will host a Sunday viewing party of the women's World Cup title match between Team USA and the winner of Japan vs. England.

Festivities for the free event kick off at 3 p.m. in Lincoln Park near Stockton and LaSalle drives, south of Lincoln Park Zoo.

The game airs at 6 p.m. on FOX-Ch. 32 and will be shown on a 19-by-33-foot, high-definition screen.

Japan faces England on Wednesday night at 5 at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada. The winner will meet the U.S. in the final at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.

Last summer's viewing party for the men's World Cup drew 28,000 people to Soldier Field.
