May 06--A 53-year-old woman was stabbed to death in Chicago's West Rogers Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon during a domestic fight, according to police.
The woman, identified as Jerren Jackson, was found stabbed in the 6200 block of North Bell Avenue about 5 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office and police.
Jackson, who lived on the same block where the stabbing occured, was pronounced dead on the scene at 4:49 p.m., according to the medical examiner.
A man was taken into custody in the stabbing, and he's at Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, authorities said.
