BRIEF: Jogger pulled from Belmont Harbor on North Side

Jan. 25--A woman jogger was hospitalized Sunday morning after being pulled from Belmont Harbor on the North Side in the city's East Lakeview neighborhood, said police.

The woman, who was described as about 30, was pulled out of the water about 10:30 a.m. near the 3500 block of Lake Shore Drive, said Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic, citing preliminary information.

According to a Chicago Fire Department spokesman, the woman fell into the water and another jogger called emergency officials who quickly rescued the woman.

The woman was taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he said.
