BRIEF: Woman missing more than a month on South Side

April 15--Police are asking for the public's help finding a woman who went missing more than a month ago in the city's Chatham neighborhood.

Sonya Rouse, 50, was last seen March 5 in the 7500 block of South Champlain Avenue, police said.

She is described as a black woman with a medium complexion and brown eyes. Rouse wears a blond curly wig, is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Chicago Police Department's Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
