April 16--A woman was found dead with an electrical cord around her neck Wednesday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.
The woman, who is in her 50s, was discovered in the 2500 block of West Moffat Street about 5:45 p.m., according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed the fatality but could not release any additional information early Thursday.
Chicago police are conducting a death investigation.
No other details were immediately available.
