BRIEF: Woman discovered dead at storage facility in Crest Hill

Jan. 18--A 30-year-old woman was found dead at a self-storage facility in southwest suburban Crest Hill on Friday morning, authorities said.

Tiana M. Wallace was pronounced dead at 9:58 a.m. Friday at U-Store-It, at 1906 Plainfield Road in Crest Hill, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

One cause of Wallace's death was hypothermia due to cold exposure, according to the results of a Saturday autopsy.

But the case is still pending, awaiting the outcome of additional toxicological studies and an ongoing police investigation, according to the coroner's office.

The Crest Hill Police Department could not immediately comment on the incident.
