Feb. 21--A woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover on the Bishop Ford Expressway early Sunday near south suburban South Holland.
The woman, who was in her mid-20s, was driving a car in the southbound lanes of Interstate 94 when she hit a guardrail around 3:45 a.m. near 170th Street and rolled over into a ditch, said Illinois State Police Trooper Ark Wozniak.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and no one else was injured in the accident, Wozniak said.
As of 7:30 a.m., state police officials closed the southbound lanes of I-94 around the accident site as they investigated the crash.
No other information about the incident was immediately available.
