May 27--A 50-year-old woman was thrown from her car and critically injured when the Jeep she was driving crashed on Lake Shore Drive late Thursday, police said.
She was on the drive near Pershing Road at about 11:40 p.m. when the Jeep rolled over a curb and flipped, police said. She was ejected from the vehicle.
The woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
