June 18--A 23-year-old woman is in critical condition Thursday morning after falling from the second story of a building in Lincoln Park.
Police said the woman was leaning over the second-floor balcony railing of a building in the 2200 block of North Halsted Street about 12:40 a.m. Thursday when she fell over and struck the ground.
The woman was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition. Police said the fall appeared to be accidental.
