Nov. 09--A woman in an SUV was cited after she hit a paving machine early Monday on Lake Shore Drive in the Gold Coast neighborhood.
About 2:05 a.m., the 26-year-old woman was driving south in the 800 block of North Lake Shore when her SUV struck a road-paving machine, according to police.
The Chicago Fire Department responded to the crash, but no one was reportedly transported to hospitals, police said.
The woman, a Chicago resident, was issued citations for failure to stay in her lane and failure to wear a seat belt, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
