Feb. 01--A 53-year-old woman was charged last month with prostitution following an investigation of a Glen Ellyn spa, police said.
The woman, Jinhau Jiao, of Flushing, N.Y., also was charged with practicing massage therapy without a license, according to police reports.
Glen Ellyn Deputy Chief of Police Bill Holmer said the department had received several complaints about Sun Spa Massage, 565 Roosevelt Road, including tips that lewd behavior was taking place on the premises. Holmer said officers began an investigation, which led to the charges on Jan. 12.
Two other people -- Dehua Fan, 49, of Carol Stream, and Yan Mei, 36, of Glen Ellyn -- also were charged with practicing massage therapy without a license following the investigation, police said.
All the charges are misdemeanors.
