Oct. 22--Police are asking for the public's help finding a 69-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday in the city's Marynook neighborhood near the Avalon Park area.
Marguerita Yancy was last seen in the area of the 8900 block of South University Avenue. She was wearing a black denim jacket with studs, blue jeans, pink gym shoes, a green bandanna and red glasses, police said.
Police said Yancy is known to frequent shelters.
She is described as a black woman with a medium-brown complexion, brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds.
