Feb. 03--A 69-year-old woman died after she was hit by a car as she walked near an intersection in Lakeview on Wednesday morning, police said.
The woman was struck near Diversey Parkway and Broadway at 6:05 a.m., said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
No information was available about any charges against the driver.
