BRIEF: Woman, 50, missing from South Side for more than 2 weeks

April 02--Police are asking for help in finding a 50-year-old woman who has been missing for more than two weeks from the South Side.

Sonya Rouse was last seen sometime between March 5 and March 15 in the vicinity of 75th Street and Champlain Avenue, according to a news release from the Chicago Police Department.

Rouse is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 160 pounds. She has brown eyes and a medium complexion. She wears a blond curly wig and carries a purse with her, according to the release. Rouse is bipolar.

It's unknown what type of clothing she was wearing last, the release said.

Anyone with information about Rouse's whereabouts should call Area South detectives at 312-747-8274.
