July 23--A stretch of Wolf Road in Orland Park will close early next month so a culvert can be replaced, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
Wolf Road will be closed to traffic between 143rd and 151st streets on Aug. 3, weather permitting, IDOT officials said.
A detour will take drivers to 108th Avenue, reconnecting with Wolf Road at 143rd Street and 153rd Street.
IDOT said the segment is expected to reopen by Aug. 18 and the culvert replacement project is to be finished by the end of the month.
