May 16--WNBA box scores will get an upgrade as the league's website will include true shooting percentage, assist-to-turnover ratio and other advanced statistics for all games this season.
Other categories include player impact estimate (PIE) and effective field goal percentage (eFG%), and will be available as part of box scores shortly after each game.
Traditional box scores (points, rebounds, assists, etc.) dating back to 2007 are available online, and the league expects to add the remaining box scores from 1997 to 2006 in the coming weeks.
In the age of sports analytics, the upgrade represents a step forward for the WNBA as it marks its 20th season. This season also marked the launch of a league-pass service that streams live and previously broadcast games through mobile devices and Apple TV.
