BRIEF: Wilco to play Millennium Park in August

Feb. 22--Wilco will perform at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park in August with "special guests" to be named at a later date, Jam Productions announced Monday.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale 11 a.m. Friday for the Aug. 21 show via etix.com. Reserved tickets cost $75-85 while lawn tickets cost $30.

Gates are scheduled at open at 5 p.m. ahead of the 6:30 p.m. showtime.

The band, which played the Pitchfork Music Festival in July, is performing in support of its 2015 album "Star Wars." Meanwhile, frontman Jeff Tweedy is set to play two shows in May at the Vic Theatre to benefit education.
