April 21--White Sox left-hander John Danks gave up a solo home run to Ryan Raburn in the second inning for a 1-0 Indians lead Monday night at U.S. Cellular Field.
It was Raburn's first homer of the season.
On the mound
Danks took the mound with an 0-2 record and 6.97 ERA. He hasn't recorded a victory against the Indians since April 10, 2014.
At the plate
Sox center fielder Adam Eaton led off the game with a walk, and Jose Abreu singled, but the Sox didn't score.
In the field
After Avisail Garcia fielded a Michael Brantley double with one runner on base in the third inning, he double-pumped the throw, giving time for the Indians' Mike Aviles to score from third base for a 2-0 lead.
Sanchez honored
Sox infield prospect Carlos Sanchez was named the International League Player of the Week after he hit .536 with four doubles, six RBIs and six runs last week. Sanchez started the season with the Sox but was sent to Triple-A Charlotte when Chris Sale returned from the disabled list.
