Sept. 07--The White Sox go for their fifth straight win this afternoon, sending Chris Sale to the mound against the Indians.
They're technically in the wild-card chase at 6 games back, though no one is really thinking of that right now.
'I think every time that part comes up we don't play very well," manager Robin Ventura said. "Just continue to play and win today's game."
Ventura admitted the Sox are "tough to figure out" because they're so streaky.
"It's got a lot of different personalities," he said. "The last weekend (in Kansas City) a good personality showed up."
Adam LaRoche was a late scratch with tendinitis in his right knee. Here's the Sox lineup:
