BRIEF: White Sox agree to deal with pitcher Miguel Gonzalez

April 03--The White Sox agreed to a minor-league deal with right-hander Miguel Gonzalez, a team official said Sunday.

Gonzalez was released by the Orioles last week and provides starting pitching depth for the Sox behind right-hander Mat Latos, who posted a 10.38 ERA in three starts this spring.

Gonzalez, 31, is 39-33 with a 3.83 ERA over four major-league seasons with the Orioles. He posted a 4.91 ERA over 26 starts in 2015.
