Nov. 24--The White Sox acquired Rockies reliever Tommy Kahnle on Tuesday for minor league pitcher Yency Almonte.
The 26-year-old Kahnle posted a 4.86 earned-run average with the Rockies over 33 1/3 innings in 2015, and has a 4.41 ERA in 90 apperances for Colorado the last two seasons.
Almonte, 21, was 11-7 with a 3.41 ERA in two Class-A stops this season. He was acquired from the Angels in the Gordon Beckham deal in 2014.
The Sox roster now stands at 37.
