BRIEF: What time is the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby?

July 13--The Major League Baseball All-Star Home Run Derby is scheduled to start at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati at 5 p.m. PDT Monday, but there's a chance rain could wash out the annual swat fest.

It's a rainy day in Cincinnati, and the forecast calls for a 75% chance of light rain at starting time. However, the rain is expected to move out of the area by around 7 p.m. PDT.

A two-hour rain delay could make for some antsy home run hitters, and Cincinnati doesn't want to repeat history: The last All-Star Home Run Derby to be rained out was at its old Riverfront Stadium in 1988.

Still, rain delays are just a part of baseball and, apparently, the home run derby. Last year's derby at Target Field in Minneapolis was delayed an hour because of rain.

The derby will broadcast live on ESPN and MLB.com.

Here's the list of players who are scheduled to compete in the derby:

1. Albert Pujols (Angels)

2. Todd Frazier (Cincinnati Reds)

3. Josh Donaldson (Toronto Blue Jays)

4. Joc Pederson (Dodgers)

5. Manny Machado (Baltimore Orioles)

6. Anthony Rizzo (Chicago Cubs)

7. Prince Fielder (Texas Rangers)

8. Kris Bryant (Chicago Cubs)
