Jan. 06--WGN-Ch. 9 reporter and fill-in anchor Tom Negovan recently paid $630,000 for a two-bedroom, 1,879-square-foot condominium unit on the 45th floor of a Loop high-rise.
Located in a building that was completed in 2010, Negovan's new unit has three baths, 10-foot concrete ceilings, dark-stained hardwood floors, an updated kitchen and a third bedroom that has been converted to living space.
"When I saw the view, I was sold," Negovan told Elite Street. "This place was a very pleasant surprise. (It was) not really what I was looking for -- a bit too much space for me -- but it has a lot of windows overlooking the Loop and the lake."
Included in the purchase price was a tandem parking space. The condo had been listed for $600,000, and the parking space had been listed separately for $44,000.
