April 08--An autopsy Thursday determined a 38-year-old man died of gunshot wounds after being shot in 2010 on the West Side, officials said.
Trayon Carson, 38, died of complications of remote gunshot wounds, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Carson, of the 1000 block of North Spaulding Avenue, was shot at 12:25 a.m. April 27, 2010, in the 1600 block of North Menard Avenue, in the city's Austin neighborhood, according to the medical examiner's office.
He was pronounced dead at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday at Norwegian-American Hospital, according to the office, which ruled the death a homicide.
According to police nobody was charged in the shooting.
