Oct. 18--A North Austin neighborhood man was arrested on suspicion of predatory criminal sexual assault after a 13-year-old relative complained of stomach pains at a doctor's office and turned out to be pregnant, prosecutors said Saturday.
Andres Guitierrez-Licona, 36, started forcing the then-12-year-old girl to have sex with him in 2014, the summer before she started seventh grade, prosecutors said Saturday in Cook County Bond Court.
The forced sex continued until Tuesday, prosecutors said. On Wednesday, the girl went to her pediatrician for a checkup accompanied by family members, including Guitierrez-Licona. She complained of stomach pains, and the doctor found she was pregnant.
Guitierrez-Licona admitted having sex with the girl, prosecutors said, and police were called and arrested him.
Guitierrez-Licona, of the 1800 of North Mason Avenue, was ordered held in lieu of $500,000 bail. He was ordered to surrender his passport and have no contact with anyone under age 18. His next court date is Tuesday.
