BRIEF: West Rogers Park crash sends 4 to hospitals

April 19--Four people were taken to hospitals in good condition Sunday morning following a three-car crash in the West Rogers Park neighborhood, police said.

The crash happened at 10 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Peterson Avenue, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a spokeswoman for the Chicago Police Department.

Two women, 39 and 59, were taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital, while a 55-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man were taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, according to Cooper. All were listed in good condition.

The Chicago Fire Department issued an EMS Plan I, which automatically sends at least six ambulances to the scene. According to fire officials, one of the patients at St. Francis was in serious to critical condition.
