Nov. 26--What I'm reading/watching today before my day of sloth tomorrow:

--Good Eating columnist Bill Daley offers tips to time your Thanksgiving dinner. [Tribune]

--A step-by-step video on how to carve a turkey. Remember, follow the breast bone. [YouTube]

--NPR looks into the Native American side of the Thanksgiving menu. [NPR]

--27 recipe ideas with tater tots, which let's admit, is the finest preparation of potatoes extant. [Buzzfeed]

--The Charleston Post-Courier just released a short film about the South Carolinian tradition of camp meetings. [Post-Courier]

--We conducted an unscientific survey (read: I asked several cubicle mates) about hot foods that taste the best/worst when it turns cold. Here are the results:

BEST

1. Fried chicken

2. Hawaiian pizza

3. Thanksgiving turkey

4. Bibimbap

5. Meatloaf (only barbecue sauce-based)

WORST
