Oct. 29--What I'm reading today, from the world of dining:

--Chicago magazine is reporting that L2O, the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant with two Michelin stars, is closing at the end of the year to reconcept. Chef Matthew Kirkley stays on board, and the resaturant will trade its tasting menu ($140 or $225) for "comparatively more affordable fare." The restaurant hopes to re-open in January. [Chicago]
