BRIEF: Watch young River Forest chef chide Steve Harvey for his hygiene

April 22--River Forest's Addison Osta Smith, who won the fourth season of "MasterChef Junior," taught Steve Harvey how to bake strawberry shortcake cupcakes and how to prevent food poisoning.

"Didn't you use that finger to lick the batter?," Addison asks Harvey as he tries to top his cupcake.

"Yes, doggone it, mama. Yes, mama I did. Excuse me," Harvey says in a preview of Monday's episode of his talk show.

Addison, 11, was the first female and youngest winner of "MasterChef Junior." Since the finale aired in January, she has appeared on James Corden's late-night talk show and filmed an ABC pilot with Justin Long.

"Steve Harvey" airs 2 p.m. weekdays on WMAQ-Ch. 5. Next week's guests are children, in honor of his NBC variety show "Little Big Shots."
