BRIEF: Watch 'X-Files' stars have a passionate reunion on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Jan. 13--"The X-Files" stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny welcomed modern times with a passionate reunion Tuesday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

A skit featured Kimmel joining the FBI special agents' team and showing Duchovny and Anderson, who was born in Chicago and attended DePaul University, that technology has changed since their show was on the air in the 1990s.

As Anderson (who plays Dana Scully) struggles with a '90s oversized cellphone, Kimmel introduces the duo to smartphones.

"People can find anybody anywhere all the time now," Kimmel says. "Haven't you heard of the Internet?"

Then Kimmel suggests the couple have sex, which they do as Hootie and the Blowfish plays in the background.

"The X-Files" wrapped up its nine-year run in 2002. A six-episode revival is set to premiere on Fox at 9 p.m. Jan. 24.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights on ABC at 10:35 p.m.
