March 23--"New Girl" star Lamorne Morris said he is releasing a comedy rap album called "The Lamorning After Pill" that's a parody of rappers.
Morris, who grew up in Glen Ellyn and trained at Second City, performed a sample of the song "Summer Dreams" in Tuesday's episode of Conan O'Brien's talk show. The single includes various product placements so Morris' character doesn't go broke.
"I'm a bad boy and that's word to Chex Mix," Morris raps. "Disrespect, I'll spill your Pepsi while streaming my Netflix."
Morris told New York magazine earlier this month that a friend who owns Do-Rite Donuts, which has locations in the downtown area, asked him to create a doughnut. The treat had macadamia nuts, white chocolate and bacon but he said he wasn't allowed to call it the "Lamorning After Pill."
Morris, 32, is set to appear in the Chicago-set film "Barbershop: The Next Cut," due out April 15.
"Conan" airs weeknights on TBS at 10 p.m.
